If you had one choice to hunt another animal in another state what would you pick.
That would be tough for me.Let's see, there's different species of turkeys, there's grizzly, mountain lions, etc.
I think I would pick elk.We have some but they're tame.

Same with me hemmy... I always wanted to go hunt elk, but just never had the chance... When I had the time I didn't have the money...and when I had the money I didn't have the time.

If I had to pick one hunt to go on, probably elk as well, regardless of whether or not I was successful. I just want to see one sometime, and hear one.
For just a hunt with a kill, a black buck would tie the spot though, because I really want one of those.

Hmmmm.... I guess for me, I'd like to try hunting out in Colorado or Wyoming for bighorn ram or mountain goats. Those darn things are way up high in the mountains and can see you clearly from a mile away. Talk about a challenge!

I would have to go for my #1 dream hunt(assuming that I don't have to pay for it) in alaska for Brown bear. I consider this to be the ultimate north american dangerous game that can hunt and bight you back. Polar bear would be cool too. But as far as my home state goes I love hunting elk. It's hard to beat the excitement that you feel when you see a big trophy bull elk in your scope.

turner1978 if you ever do take that Alaskan hunt, and you fly into the Fairbanks airport, take a few minutes and walk to each of the 3 main entrances... At each entrance there is a huge bear in a glass case, all of them standing up on their hind legs, if I recall, and all unbelieveable in size... a Grizzly at one, a Brown at another, and a Polarbear at the third.

I will definately have to take a look at those bears.
My fiance and I went to scheels sporting goods store in billings, montana. They had this huge brown bear mounted in there that was twice as tall as my 5'2" fiance. It had a sign that said it was something like 1,200 lbs. Those things are a lot bigger than they look on TV. I would show ya a picture but I can't figure out how to post a pic.

Posting pictures.....
I made a post about the "how to's" if you do want to, in the Off Topic section. It's at the tippy top of the board there.
lol..shoot, let me just link ya:
http://www.precisionhuntingandfishing.com/...?showtopic=2334If you can understand that (I'm not the very best at explaining "things") post, then you should be good to go. But, if you don't and have any more Q's about it, feel free to ask away. I'm not the most computer literate (I guess I'd still be a puny freshman if this were school), but, I'll try to help in any way.
