Wow! What a buck!!! biggrin.gif

I'd say around 175 - 180 range, but I too am not the best judge on deer. The only thing that I gotta say is HOLY COW LOOK AT THE LENGTH OF THE G2's!!!!! ohmy.gif

Loch Haven, PA... Hmmm... I know exactly where that is (I-80 and Route 15 near Williamsport and Milton). I go right through it on the way to my sister & elderly mom's house in upstate NY). I might have to check into some monster PA bucks next time I am driving up that way!

WOW!!! biggrin.gif

Next time you come this way...Give me a call..(570)748-4827 the day before you come down....Dinners on me....That buck was shot in 1992 in Sask...No bucks EVER taken in Pa that big.....EVER....So your 175 to 180 is a bit low biggrin.gif

You got a deal! biggrin.gif

I have seen only one monster buck in PA in my lifetime (and I almost drove off the road with my wife and girls with me!). We were coming back from visiting her family in Buffalo, NY over Thanksgiving and traveling down I-99/Route 220 just south of Altoona. Well, right near a tiny town called St. Clairsville/exit 7, (?) off to the left of the interstate southbound is a huge farm field and/or groups of farm fields. I saw a small herd of does and a MASSIVE MONSTER BUCK trailing them about 20 yards behind. ohmy.gif Like I said, I almost drove off the road! My wife yelled at me to keep my eyes on the road or she'll make me pull over and she'll drive. I will say this.... They grow 'em BIG up in PA!! biggrin.gif

Boyd,

Many thanks !! Way I figgure it, you buy Butch dinner, then when I'm down Butch's way he can repay ya by buying me dinner (at Hooters of course) !! wink.gif laugh.gif

Butch, don't worry, if your hungry when yer up this way, we'll have the Bawana throw ya something together !! laugh.gif laugh.gif

Boyd, you are going to tell us the score of this rack at some point, aren't ya ? Well, at least yer using "putfile.com", but I'm still waiting for some long range videos. Perhaps you have a long-range Groundhog explosion or two to tie me over till rifle season ?? wink.gif

LOL!!! Sounds like a plan to me! laugh.gif

I just can't wait to get out there and hunt. Sitting in an office cubicle day after day working in computers can drive you nuts!

This should tell you something about the animals we hunt. Saskatchewan is brutally cold in the very long winter they have. Snowstorms can be considered warm spells because much of the winter it's actually too cold to snow. Yet, in that climate these deer and moose can survive. They're pretty hardy beggars, you betcha. Best wishes.
