I have been real impressed with my Taurus Raging Bull. It has been the most accurate with handloads so far. I have had other 44 Mags including the Super Redhawk, Super Blackhawk, Dan Wesson, and mod 629 Smith, but I like the the Taurus the best.

I totally agree with Sodak Jim on this one..... The TAURUS RAGING BULL in .44 Magnum is a fine and very accurate handgun...and perfectly capable of handleing any big game hunting you will ever do in North America (or just about anywhere else for that matter)... I don't personally own one...but that is what we gave our son in law for a gift last Christmas... and our son got him a scope and rings and shoulder holster for it... I've put quite a few rounds thru it myself, and it is EXTREMELY accurate, has alot less "felt recoil" than I figured it would, and the "real world" cost was less than 500 bucks... But bear in mind that in size, as well as power, it is a "Big Gun".

I've got a Ruger Super Red Hawk in 44 mag with a 7 1/2 barrel. It's a good choice. It has a quick mount scope system that allows the removal and installation of a scope without having to boresight.
