How yinz doing so far?

Here's ours,not much happening with archery.Really haven't been out much.Went to the cabin this weekend and basically hunted grouse in the rain,then wind,then snow.Had alot of flushes in the pines where they took refuge but no kills.These pines are thick and it's really tough to get a good shot.Only quick shots happen but it's fun.The rest of the season we'll hunt grouse,archery,{the rut},bear,and then rifle.I must admit I don't hunt hard like I used to except for grouse.Probably up to about 5 years ago I used to kill alot of game but then I hunted hard too.What's that tell ya?

Least you're gettin out there. I imagine it would be boogery in thick pines, with grouse.

After three weeks going deer hunting every weekend, I got my buck. It's now time to go quail/chukar Partridge hunting.

Well, I got a Doe opening day of Archery here in VA. Probably been out bout 4 other days since, and haven't gotten any more shooting. In fact I haven't seen anymore while out hunting. I'v been seeing plenty traveling to or from going Hunting, course the weather around these parts hasn't exactly been the best either.

I shot a blackbear in AK, General deer season is over today and I havent got a buck. One of my hunting partners shot a big 3X3 today. I'll hunt late buck hard, the bucks will be ruttn. Elk opens this weekend and I'll be out there with my hunting party like every year, from the early scouting it looks to be a good year for elk around here.

Just got back from elk camp. out of 4 of us we got 2 bulls this wekend, one 3x4 and one 5x5. I'll write up a post with pics. when I have some time.

Fatty got his buck and I'm down to a few days here in lancaster.Chances are slim here but I can't get one on the sofa.
