I don't know if this was brought up before or not...but...

What is your favorite game to hunt? .... I have hunted and enjoyed hunting everything in my area, from rats at the town dump, to deer... but my favorite eventually became, and remained, coyotes... What is yours?

1) Deer
2) Turkey
3) Rabbits and other small game
4) Ducks and Geese

I enjoy hunting for anything. To me it's being outdoors and away from the city.

I'm not really sure to tell the truth. I guess deer although I hate dragging them laugh.gif . I like squirrels too though.

Predators, fox and coyotes mainly. They hunt you when you use the call.

Nothing more exciting seeing a red fox come across snow in pursuit of what they think is a field mouse.

Also nothing like getting in a coyote brain and make him think that another coyote has just entered his territory and wants to be the head coyote.
Hairtrigger
Woodchucks!
Shoot them and leave them lay.
Don't laugh at me on this one. I am somewhat squeemish when it comes to gutting animals. I can and will do it but it is about all I can do. I am not much for wild meat either, probably, no without a doubt, the fussiest eater I know. I grew up on a pork and beef farm and always had plenty of meat in the freezer. Dad never hunter and when I started mom cooked everything the same as pork and beef.... never liked eating game, still don't really enjoy it.

LOL... Hairtrigger... I used to have a brother in law like that... He loved hunting...but often came by and gave us his bagged game. He would generally gut them before bringing them by, but after gutting something he had a problem eating it himself...... I was raised on squirrels and dumplins, and rabbit stew. Those were my father's favorite things to hunt...but then too we always had a freezer full of something... My father was a butcher, and did quite a bit of "part time" work, especially in the fall, butchering people's deer, or even cattle, hogs, sheep, and goats, etc....and back in those days, when money was alot tighter, they often paid him in meat.
