I like to take my saturn hunting at night because the gas tank locks from the inside of the car. Now my GMC Jimmy does not have this type of a flap on the gas tank.

I can get me one of those locking gas caps. I have used them in the past on my other trucks. I know the neighbor kids went up and down the street one time and put flour, peas, and such in everyone gas tank. Me I ended up with a potato stuck in my tailpipe but they could not open my gas tank on the chevy truck. people who got the peas and or the flour in the gas tanks their cars were totaled.

Anyway I can tell you some stories of what happened to me in my 21 years of hunting predator at night. Sometimes it a good idea to have a locking gas cap or get one of those vehicles that you can lock the gas flap from inside the car.

I do hate to have a locking gas cap. Once I start to use the Jimmy more then my Saturn I will probably purchase the old locking gas cap that for sure.

Think of this item as a good night time hunting equipment item. Locking gas cap or flap?

I do remember once that the same kids (no longer live here) did pour flour down my Granada. I had to take it into the garage and have them unhook the gas tank and bleed it. Shortly there after my Ford went capput!

I would take it upon myself to bend them over and beat their (bad word). It would be soooo worth a few nights in jail.

I've never had one but when the gas first got real expensive, our vandal types would come by the house at night and steal the gas out of the tanks. Could have used a locking cap then, for sure! That is cool the ones where it locks from inside the car. I didn't know there was such a thing in cars now...that is really cool.

I've got a locking cap on my old GMC... On the wife's FORD truck, I believe it opens from the inside.... Here is it not so much vandals putting stuff in your tank as it is kids stealing your gas...... But I guess I really can't say a whole lot about that...except that gas was alot cheaper when I was a kid.........
