Do you have and new equipment you are planning to use this Fall or perhaps new areas to hunt ??
I have my new 300 Savage model99 & Mueller scope combo I'll be breaking in; it will be splitting time with my 243 m99 and 243 Remmy. I will be sticking to the areas I'v hunted in the past and with my new job I'll be damn lucky if I can con them out of more than a week to hunt, so may well not get up to my land in PA to hunt and will prolly trying to get out every weekend during Archery season here in VA.

I just got a FOXPRO FX5 caller with a remote. I can't wait until this fall to hunt coyotes in Pennsylvania. I will be hunting in the Northeast in areas that I grew up as a kid. Only about 100 miles from where I live now. Only 40 miles from my daughters house.
I was considering going back to work for UNCLE as a contractor. I decided that even if the money would be real good i'm telling them i'm not even interested in training college kids on how to do the job I retired from.
Got me a Grandson on the way, got me a new FOXPRO FX5, can't wait to place the illuminated Muller dot right on that there incoming canine.
Will be doing some serious inline black powder hunting for anterless deer in October too. Usually I am on family vacation then or have to go to a wedding or train or guide hunters on predator hunts. Not this year. i'm looking forward to a nice week of black powder hunting.

Same ol Same ol for me. Mebbe I'll strike it rich and buy Sumter County then fly you boys in to hunt. But, if not...same lease, same guns.
Would really like to find a new lease this year!

This spring 10 acres of my land was planted for cover and food for upland birds. The new grasses and food plants are doing well. By hunting season I,ll find some birds in it. I think I,ll use an old Rem 12 Ga pump Mfg Sept 1935. Same year and Mo I was born..

Same old thing for deer and bear around here, going to use the 7mm mag this year.
I'm going to give the bow a try for elk this year, hunt a area that I used to hunt 15 years ago thats miles and miles of old growth forest.

Im hunting the 140 acres on my grandfathers land, mostly woods. Im also putting in a foodplot in my back 30 to attract deer out of adjacent woods. It should work pretty well.
Im going to be using my trusty 1300 for gun and my pse for bow.

starting the beginning of oct..archery-can't wait. This year will make it two in a row 99er.
Then grouse and if I get my buck early enough in archery, fall turkey.
Then bear, then rifle for buck but I'll just go up for the fun cause I'll already be tagged out from archery.
