Where do you store all of your ammo ??For the guns I don't typically use regularly, mine stays with some of the semi-active guns in the "gun corner" of the basement. For the guns I regularly use, presently my 243 Remmy, 243 m99, and 300 Savage m99, all of which reside in Stayput (my hunting vehicle); I keep a box of each cartridge out in the tray under the dash. My reserve boxes of ammo and spent cartridges all stay neatly organized in a briefcase (that I picked up at the local dump) in the back Stayput.

My handgun ammo (and airgun ammo) is stored in those metal ammo boxes that army surplus stores generally sell for about 3 bucks each. And I keep them stacked in the corner of the gun room... My rifle and shotgun ammo is stored in those wooden ammo crates...and also stacked aginst the wall in the gun room.... Powder is "stored" in a small refridgerator, which I have cut the plug off of, in another corner of the gun room, and my brass is in a large cardboard box setting beside it... I have all my primers stored in a drawer of my loading desk... The bullets I have on a set of shelves that I built and and set aginst the wall beside the loading desk.

Most of my ammo, bullets, powder and brass is stored on a set of wall shelves I built on one wall of my basement. My primers are stored in a steel cabinet. All total I have roughly 6000 or 7000 rounds I guess and about 40 lbs of powder.

Hey 99er around here it would not be a good idea to leave your guns in stayput. We have had a good many vehicles broken into and looted lately.

I hear ya Book, but there are certain advantages of having a Husband & Wife State Trooper team living 2 houses up the street from me.

Book, that's good advice for anywhere a person lives..... My best friend had his car broken into and a very old BROWNING pistol in .25ACP, that was his father's "pocket pistol" was stolen.... Then about 10 years ago someone knocked the window out of my father in law's truck and stole two shotguns and a rifle... And in both cases, the vehicles were parked in front of the owner's home.

i've got a box for the 30-30 on my printer right here....and I think there's some on my dresser for a .22 , a BB gun, and the .300.
There's a box for the 270 in my dad's (and mine hunting rig) car. The pistols , I have no idea where their bullets are, but they're already loaded under the mattresses.
And...hmmmm.....
I am not sure where the rest of it is.
I do have a gun rack with a drawer..lol..but, it's got knives in it. Doh!

I store all my Ammo in a separate gun safe. That way I don't have to worry about grand kids getting into it by accident. Besides it is kept kool and dry.
