Full Version: Use your binoculars...

I have been guilty of this myself...but when hunting, carry and use your binoculars to "glass out" or look over an area...NOT your riflescope... If by chance there happens to be another hunter in the area you are looking, and he sees someone pointing a rifle at him, he may shoot first and ask questions later...and I do know people who would.... So for everyone's safety, carry and use your binoculars.

I absolutely agree with you.

I use my binoculars extensively. I single load my rifles after I set up to take a shot.

I agree Joe.

Yeah, I agree with you too. If we're hunting on the powerlines, we have a good (enough) view of the adjoining guy if he's hunting this one spot of his cause he's on the skyline. Well, I always wear an orange hat, so, he can probably see me too if he's looking over at us...and if I see deer on ths skyline I usually look at what they are if nothing is going on for me, just to have something to do. I use the binocs cause I'm always paranoid he'd get scared and we'd have probs if he noticed me looking at him through a scope...if he was looking at me looking at him. LoL. yes, for safety reasons, always use a binoc...I agree.
