I had to take my daughters cat to the vet today for rabies shots.
Notice a chart on the vets wall entitled:
THE LIFE EXPECTANCY OF A CAT
Life Expectancy of a House Cat: 12 to 15 years
Life Expectancy of an Outside Cat: Only 3 to 8 years
Yep statistics for outside cats do reaveal that when a coyotes happens to come by. The coyote has to be thinking to himself? "MY FAVORITE!"

As someone whose wife had/has ALOT of outside cats, (Not because she wants to have cats outside particularly...but because this seems to be the local "dumping area" for unwanted cats, and my wife ...."can't let the poor things just starve."... I can also tell you that those big owls and hawks, as well as bobcats, take a toll on them as well.
