hey, i was wondering if any of you guys could take the time to tell me a little (or a lot) about trapping in northern PA. i'm only 17 and would love to get into it. i tried last year but only cought a couple little coons. so any help would be GREAT. oh and i need a place to sell the fur i couldn't find anything in my area. but maybe one of you guys knows. i love in Butler county PA so maybe someone could help me find something. thanks ~Greg

Hopefully Uncle Buck will see and respond to your post ... bout the only thing I trap is the occasional "problem Groundhog" near buildings. unsure.gif biggrin.gif

Greg wow your lucky now because if you get certified you can use cable restraints to trap fox and or coyotes after the New Year until the season ends in February.

One of the best things to do is join a trapping organzation. One of the best is the Pa Trapper Assoc. They just had a big get together at Warren County, Pa in June.

What you want to do is get yourself a couple of trapping how to videos. Decide if you want to land trap or water trap. Coon fox, coyotes, mink, possums, bobcat with permit,
