what would be your dream hunt?
bythebook

A hunt in Africa for Elephant and Buffalo.
Iron Fox
An archery hunt for whitetails-in Saskatchewan-little snow on the ground. Camping in a tent for a few weeks. Miles from the nearest road or house!

I would like to go out west and shoot prairie poodles. It would be a bonus if there was a trout stream near by to flyfish.
Uncle Buck
A predator calling hunt for one week in Texas for coyotes, bobcat, and fox.

Back in the early 60's my father bought a new WINCHESTER Model 70 in .300 H&H Magnum, for an elk hunt he some day wanted to take out west...but he passed away before ever getting to take that hunt... Over time I decided that would be my "Dream Hunt", to take his old rifle out west for elk... But, the way things turned out, don't look like I will make it either... I just hope that some day my son will take that old rifle out west after elk, and finally use it for the reason it was originally bought................ For me, my "Dream Hunt" is for elk in one of the western states.

Theres three hunts that I would do in Alaska if I won the lottery. Brown bear, Dall sheep, and Mountain goat. Most likely those three hunts will always be too expensive for me to do.

I have hunted birds, small game, varmints and big game in North Dakota, Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska. My dream was to hunt in the south and eastern U.S. I have never shot a ground hog or quail but now at 72 years it is unlikley that I ll get too.
Paymaster
Elk hunt in the Rockies.

I don't really want to go to Africa or any place "third world" , but wouldn't sneeze at a few of their game if it was handed to me in a package. I guess anything in Colorado has always been my idea of a dream...I've always wanted to go there. Perhaps mulies or elk.
I really want an axis deer, but, it wouldn't be a "dream hunt" (would be a dream if I could afford it, cause I'd go to a ranch for it, they're gorgeous), would be more a "fun thing to do".
