A good picture to show just how the cable restraints are suppose to work.

For those who are interested in this. Here is what the cable restraint looks like when it's set on a game trail. One in most cases does not use any bait. You just place the restraint where you anticpate the fox and or coyote to travel down.

I harvested two male red fox today in the cable restraints. One will be skinned and the other well you look at the picture and you will see what I mean.

Congrats on the fox... And mange can be a real problem... I have seen coyotes that didn't have a handfull of hair on their entire body... Really, you did the fox a favor by preventing it from a long drawn out period of suffering before death...and maybe prevented other foxes from catching it as well.
