Before taking that dull coyote pelt to the fur buyer, put just a tiny bit of baby oil on your palms, rub them together, then wipe the fur with it. It can make some dull, flat furs almost sparkle, and cause the fur buyer to dig a little deeper in his pocket.

I'm not able to trap any longer myself, due to a disablility...however, I may know someone who may be able to help you... Is your stepfather a fur buyer, or looking for some fur for personal use...and what exactly are you looking for as far as "state" of the pelt is concerned...such as green, fleshed and stretched, ect. ? ... Let me know exactly what you are wanting, and I'll talk to a fella that I know who has done pretty good with the coyotes and cats this season, and see if he wants to get in touch with you.

Good info I have some calling and trapping (red Fox) to take in at the end of the season. I will give it a try.
