Hands:

re:scanner - 99er gave me good info awhile back about scanners. (I was amazed to find that I didn't have to spend a fortune to get one) However what is holding ,me back is that I really don't know too much about PCs. I did manage to hook up a printer and also my digital camera.

Hands - answer me seriously. Can I hook up a scanner without losing my mind? (No smilie. I'm serious)

Gerald, I do tend to kid around...but never about my lack of computer skills. LoL...I have a hard time figuring out things on this dummy box, probably more than most. (This is the first I've ever played with...and most certainly the first time I had internet.)

So, I assure you, one like mine (which is fairly cheap compared) is simple to do (which is why I sought out this one). It is an "all-In-One" Lexmark model X1150. It has a printer, scanner, and copier. All I had to do with it is plug it's cord into my puter, and insert the CD that came with it. And it has simple comands like "scan" and "copy"..lol....so, it's pretty easy to do.

I say , YES, there are some that are made for "folks like us" (tecknologikally challenged wink.gif biggrin.gif ) and are pretty easy to understand and use.
