If you want more fur on the strecher's best to sight in your shotgun from a bench. Something how different brands and types hit on paper at 40 yards. I do like how the turkey designated ammo hits. Less adustment on an incoming fox then let say the cheap high brass. Now if you compensate and aim the cheaper will do up until Thanksgiving for gray and or red fox. However after TURKEY DAY the fur starts to get prime and you need to start to use # 2, BB to anchor fox.

It is hard to hit predators at night time. I prefer to use the shotgun instead of a rifle. However there are people who can hit constantly with a rifle at night time. They use the Muller eliuminated dot scopes. Me I prefer the shotgun at night time. You do have to figure just where the fox is going to come out of the bush when using a shotgun. Always remember that they, predators will get in direct line with the loudest part of the sound. So where you aim the speaker down wind that is where the fox will circle and get in direct line. If you have the wind at your back and aim the speake at the corner of the field. Post just 30 yards from where the speaker is aimed and the fox will come out at that spot. yep hunt the corners. Aim the speaker at the corners, and make sure you have your red light on and in front of you. You will get more predators with the shotgun at night time.
The Hemlock
UB I think I would rather use a shotgun at night only cause of safety reasons plus I love seeing the flame come out the end of the shotgun barrel when fired at night smile.gif

The Remington Hevishot ammo does add distance to your shotgunning. I once shot a large red fox(17 pounder) about 50 yards away using Rem Hevishot in of all sizes #6 shot. It hit hard for how far the fox was. It did the old spin of chasing it tail and dropped dead on the spot.

The new Deadcoyote T size ammo is expensive for 10 shells. $32.00.......However just say your in the great Mosquito Creek hunt and your using a shotgun or better yet your just hunting coyotes in PA. As you know you sometimes only get one chance and it's best to have the best ammo when your going after the elusive Pa Eastern Coyote. If it, Deadcoyote T size shot hits as hard as the Rem Hevishot in the number #6 shot configuration. It will be deadly to have three of Deadcoyote shotgun shells in your shotgun awaiting the arrival of an incoming WILEY.

I have yet to try the New Rem HD shotgun shells. However I did notice that also comes in T shot size for coyotes too.
fatty chatty
I saw the T size yote ammo, looks good everything I saw but man that price... guess I could split the cost with old Hemlock there, and we each get 5 shells.

Yep it only take one shell to kill the number one heaviest coyote in Pa Mosquito Creek Hunt. Lets see $10,000 prize money would justify hemmy and you spliting a $32.00 box of 10 shotgun shells????????You win that you could shoot the other 9 up into the air for celerbrating????????
