I just ran across this at another forum and found it interesting, and I know that there used to be a few people here who hunted with slingshots, so I thought I'd pass it along....

I have one I occasionally shoot in the back yard...but I haven't actually hunted with one to speak of since I was a kid...but that's been a half century ago, and we made the sling shots ourselves back then.

Sometimes the things they make illegal baffle me....

At least England with all the restrictions they have let you hunt with them, with or without a brace. I think every thing else is banded or it seems like it
Take Care Vic...
Sorry about other posts

Here in Pa you can not hunt with sling shots, pellet guns, rocks, bricks, or a stick.

I didnt shoot those, but they were taken with marbles. all head shots.
The best slingshot ammo out there in my opinion is .440 lead balls for .45cal muzzleloaders. the .440's cut through the air well and pack one hell of a punch. A body shot with a .440 will take a rabbit or squirrel. A head shot will easily kill a racoon.

Thanks Zenki. Here's another question for ya. Do you have pictures of game you've taken with a blowgun or slingshot.
