I didn't do all that much calling at night, due to the hassels involved with doing so legally here, so I generally called during the day. But, with mouth calls, I'd guess that the "good ol' cotton tail" was probably the one I used more any other... But with coyotes being the mainly called predator here, coyote vocalizations were also one of my most used sounds.

I like the mouse too, only learned from the best Buck and 99er!!!
I do like to imatate a wailing fawn in the dead of winter nite too.

I don't advertize this alot, but I do best on fox with most of the JS tapes, but my secret is low volume!
Fox depend on ears for daily living...without which they would perish. (they can hear you getting set up from a LONG way off.)
Be particularly quiet, and call with a moderate volume to bring them in close for shooting.
I don't use cameras much as they get call smart.
Pay attention to wind direction, as a fox has great olfactory sensors too!
