I was using a Browning BPS with a Holosight and the Carlson Deadcoyote choke tube. My ammo was 2 3/4 Win # 4 shot copper plated turkey load.
It was raining cats and dogs when legal time occured on the 25th of Oct 1201 AM. I shot the grey at 2:00 AM. Since it was raining heavy I did not take out my expensive electronic caller (FX5 Foxprol I use a cheaper Foxpro model 38 caller and the Point Of Corn Set Up I reference on another post.
I would not have been able to be out there if I did not have good Gore-Tex clothing to allow me to hunt the heavy rains. However it paid off for me.
God must have said: "Uncle Buck you sure are dedicated to go out in bad weather like this at 2:00 AM." "I am going to let you take another trophy fox!"
I thank you Lord for allowing my bountiful harvest, Amen.
