Man, this weather is for the birds... sad.gif

I am off work until Saturday night (I got home at 9:00 am today, took a cat nap until 1:30 pm). I want to go out one last time bowhunting, but it is raining and raining, and all nasty outside. I don't think it's a good idea to climb up in a treestand in a wet tree and try to bowhunt. I've tried it once before in the rain and had some interesting experiences (Summit Viper climber decided to go "Scrrraaaaaappppeee" and slid down the tree about 6-8 inches). blink.gif

Hopefully tomorrow it will clear up, but I am not counting on it. I heard it is supposed to rain all day today, tonight, and into tomorrow. When it rains like that, don't the deer just lay low and bed down in the briars somewhere? Besides, using a compound bow in the rain, it would be difficult to follow a blood trail.
