Hunting will be the main topic of discussion for the next several weeks, hence the reason this post was initally posted in this forum. Eventually, in a week or two this post may be moved to the "Site News" Forum so that it is more visable to the many "shy" guests that we seem to have.

Note: to the "Whacko's" (you know who you are) the chat for us "irregulars" goes on as scheduled. The Friday Night Chat is to be kept on a "serious level" for those who want discussions of that nature.

We all should extend a thanks to Hands for finding us what I consider to be a great Chat Room (no lockups or annoying screen refreshing) that didn't cost us a red cent. So, with that said, come join us for some serious Hunting discussions for the next few weeks and maybe we can all get to know each other a bit more !!

One last thing, although not mandatory, we encourage you to use your normal Message Board login name, or an abbreviated version of it, so that we can attempt to keep out or at least identify any riff-raff.

I love talkin hunting but that's usually my horseshoe/pool night.

Thanks to all of those that showed up for Chat tonight. We had a good group for the 1st night; about 8 or 9 folks total showed up. Believe it or not, we actually discussed hunting for about the first hour or so.

Hope to see you all back next week and it's ok to bring along a friend to the Chat Room or here to the site !!

Deer hunting stinks so far, Eli. I see deer....but only when I'm not up there hunting them . LoL. I'm going out in the a.m. to a club, though, so maybe....wind has been bad for where I've been going, so, I been popping tree rats some days.

Yes, be sure to check Jamie... I too must apologize as with all that is going on lately it seems that by the time I think of it, it is already over.... I doubt that I will make it next Friday, as that is Christmas Eve, and we will probably have a house full, but if not, I will try.

On fridays I'm pretty good about watching the clock up to "beer:30" and after that I have alittle trouble keeping track of the time. 8:00 out there is 5:00 over here ? Correct? It was my third hunting trip to Montana befor I figured out the time was one hour ahead in montana.

Guess Pap must have showed after I left...and I noticed hemmy in the forum about that time too. Too bad he did not show up... I hung on to that "'shine" site. Never know when something like that may come in handy. I have made beer and wine, but never tried shine. Got a friend that lives way back in the sticks that makes off some fair tasty blackberry brandy. Gonna run off a copy of the "crock pot still" for him.... But don't know what good it would do him as the little shed he built and lives in has hot and cold running roaches, but not much else. Does not have electric, and he has to haul his water. About the only modern conviences he has is his '68 Bronco and Remington 700 in .270. But he has been thinking of getting a generator. Maybe this will convince him to do that.
